\n\nWe invite you to journey through time &mdash\; from Tigard&rsquo\;s founding in 1961 to the vibrant\, diverse city we are today. Get ready for music\, memories\, and a one-of-a-kind light show in the sky. This is&hellip\; Tigard Through the Decades.
\n\nTigard hosts its second annual drone show on Friday\, July 4 at a NEW location: Cook Family Park (17005 SW 92nd Ave\, Tigard\, OR 97224)! \;Our new event location provides amenities such as:
\n\n&bull\; Two playgrounds
\n\n&bull\; Basketball and volleyball courts
\n\n&bull\; Accessible restrooms
\n\nWe also welcome lawn chairs\, field activities\, and outside food and drinks at the new location.
\n\nEntertainment: \;Dragon \;Theater&mdash\;featuring face painting\, balloon artists\, and special guest characters &mdash\;plus DJ Fever Deacon\, games\, a dance contest\, and more.
\n\nFood: \;Food options will include tacos\, shave ice\, sweets and more! Stay tuned for vendor names.
\n\nDrone Show: \;This year'\;s show features an upgraded 250 drones and will be accompanied by a coordinated audio show featuring your favorite songs from the past 60 years.
\n\nShow Visibility: \;Best viewing of the drone show will be at Cook Family Park in Fields 4 and 5\, to the east of SW 92nd Avenue. The show is directional and best viewed straight on\, close to the launch site within the park.
\n\nParking: \;Attendees can park for free at Tigard High School and walk down to the park\, or at Cook Family Park.
\n\nSchedule: \;Activities start at 6 PM\; Drone Show (approximately ten minutes) at 10 PM.
