The Annual Tigard Shining Stars Community Awards Celebration presented by Edge One Media (now in its’ 49th year) recognizes and honors Tigard Community Members who demonstrate excellence and community leadership in business, volunteer activities and educational achievement. The semi-formal, evening dinner event, celebrates our vibrant Tigard community and the individuals who make it so with socializing, entertainment, and awards, including the Jim Nicoli Youth Volunteer Award, Tigard's First Citizen, a Tigard Volunteerism Award (From the Heart), $6,000 in scholarships to deserving high school seniors, Tigard Chamber Business of the Year, Tigard Chamber Volunteer of the Year, Tigard Chamber Young Professional of the Year and Tigard Chamber Ambassador of the Year.

This event is the chance for Tigard Community Members to recognize, celebrate and say thank you to the people who work so hard all year long to enhance the community that we live and do business in who truly make Tigard "A Place to Call Home".   

The Tigard Chamber Coordinates and Hosts this Annual event with the support of businesses and community members.  It really is a Celebration of the Tigard Business and Volunteer Community and Recognizes Educational Achievement of deserving high school seniors.
