You are invited to a Tigard Chamber hosted After Hours to meet Jason Snider, the Tigard Chamber’s endorsed candidate for Mayor to get to know him on a personal level.
We encourage you to come and connect with Jason, hear why he has a passion for Tigard and what he would like to do as Mayor and for the business community.
The Tigard Chamber Candidate Endorsement Committee consisting of local business owners, community leaders, and members of the Chamber Board of Directors came together to go through a non-partisan confidential process to consider candidates for endorsement who aligned with the Chambers’ core values/mission, legislative agenda and who support public policy that strengthens the business community and free enterprise system. Jason rose to the top of all the candidates and received our endorsement.

Background:  The Tigard Chamber has chosen to endorse candidates for the Tigard Mayor and City Council races as people make policies, laws, code changes, assess fees, etc that impact our Tigard businesses.  Many of our member businesses don’t have a say with a vote in Tigard as the owners or managers live in a neighboring city, yet city government decisions affect their business.  This is our way of making sure all our members business voices are heard.  We looked at candidates strictly based on the process outlined above and are they “good for business and our members”.  To learn more about the process that was used, go here.
